The "Leader and Youth" meeting held at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan became not only a platform for dialogue but also an occasion to encourage young people and give due recognition to their achievements. Active and talented students were awarded at the event, and their efforts were especially honoured before all participants.
The award ceremony was attended by the Academy's students, faculty members and representatives of the media.
First, the winners of the sports competitions held as part of the "New Uzbekistan" student olympiad were awarded. Over twenty days, young athletes competed in table tennis, futsal, volleyball and streetball. Winners and prize-winners received cups, medals, diplomas and souvenirs in recognition of their efforts.
The event also gave special recognition to the achievements of participants in the "Zakovat" intellectual game organised among students. It was emphasised that such competitions help develop not only the physical but also the intellectual potential of young people.
Supporting every initiative of young people and consistently rewarding their work and talent is one of the Academy's priorities. Here, every student has ample opportunities to show their talent and achieve new successes. The institution also pays great attention to fostering a reading culture among young people. More than 50 students took part in a three-stage competition in this area, and choosing a winner among them was very difficult. Along with valuable prizes, the winner of the "Best Student Reader" competition was presented with the "RECTOR'S CUP". This was regarded as an important step towards raising the culture of reading and strengthening the spiritual and educational environment.
This event serves to support young people in every way, to value their achievements and to inspire them towards new goals.
