Presentation of the Book "MILLAT SHAVKATI" Held at the Academy of Labour and Social Relations
Today, a presentation of the book "MILLAT SHAVKATI" by the prominent statesman and public figure, political scientist, and publicist Kudratilla Rafikov, took place at the Academy of Labour and Social Relations. The event was attended by literary scholars, poets, and journalists, as well as professors, instructors, and students of the Academy. During the presentation, participants exchanged views on the content of the book, the socio-political and spiritual-educational views reflected within it, and issues concerning national history and identity.
Comprising twelve popular science articles, the "MILLAT SHAVKATI" collection deeply analyzes the past and present of our country, the new milestones of the state's development, as well as the geopolitical processes unfolding in Central Asia and the emerging atmosphere of close regional cooperation.
Using vivid examples, the book illustrates the large-scale reforms (political, economic, and social processes) being implemented in New Uzbekistan, alongside the elevation of partnership relations with neighboring countries and leading nations of the world to a new qualitative stage.
In addition, special attention is paid to issues of expanding industrial production, ensuring employment, and improving the education and healthcare systems. In particular, the book comprehensively highlights the role of trade unions in enhancing human dignity and protecting the rights and interests of workers. Unpacking the essence of these processes through specific facts and observations, the author substantiates that the foundation of the country's development rests on a consistent state policy aimed at safeguarding the interests of the people.
Speakers at the event—writer and playwright Tulkin Hayit, poet and translator Oydinniso Yuldosheva, and poet and journalist Safar Olloyor—dwelt on the significance of the book in shaping the spiritual worldview of modern society, particularly the youth.
During the open dialogue, students had the opportunity to ask questions, receive answers, and exchange views with the invited guests. Furthermore, the meeting served as an important platform for raising the reading culture among youth, fostering their interest in national history and spiritual values, and encouraging independent thinking. At the conclusion of the event, participants shared their impressions of the book "MILLAT SHAVKATI".
