National Dress Day Held at the Academy
The Academy of Labour and Social Relations organised a “National Dress Day” initiative aimed at preserving and promoting national values, highlighting the beauty and distinctive character of traditional clothing, and strengthening young people's sense of national identity.
During the event, the Academy's staff and students took part wearing traditional national attire, showcasing the rich cultural heritage, longstanding traditions and refined aesthetic culture of the Uzbek people. The unique ornaments, harmonious colour combinations, and distinctive qualities of traditional fabrics such as atlas and adras added special charm and elegance to the occasion.
Participants emphasised that national dress is more than just an element of appearance. It is an important cultural value that reflects the history, spirituality, national pride and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people.
The “National Dress Day” initiative helped foster greater respect for national traditions and customs among young people, promote the preservation of cultural values, and encourage their transmission to future generations.
