An Educational Visit to the Botanical Garden: Connecting with Nature and Promoting Environmental Awareness

The Academy of Labour and Social Relations places great emphasis on the comprehensive development of its students, focusing not only on their intellectual and personal growth but also on fostering environmental awareness, respect for nature and healthy lifestyle habits.

As part of these ongoing initiatives, an educational visit to the Tashkent Botanical Garden was organised by the Academy’s Department of Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Activities (Yoshlar masalalari va ma’naviy-ma’rifiy ishlar bo‘limi), in cooperation with the Academy’s tutors. The event was attended primarily by first-year students.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the remarkable diversity of the plant world, enjoy the beauty of natural landscapes and learn more about the importance of green spaces in human life. The variety of trees and plants, their distinctive characteristics and the importance of preserving biodiversity attracted particular interest.

The excursion also provided an opportunity for students to spend their leisure time meaningfully, strengthen friendships and develop a greater appreciation of the natural environment. Spending time outdoors encouraged positive social interaction and promoted the values of an active and healthy lifestyle.

Through initiatives such as this, the Academy continues to create opportunities for students to broaden their horizons, develop environmental responsibility and become more actively engaged in social and cultural life.

Protecting nature means protecting our future!
