Sport – The Key to Good Health: Academy Team Actively Participates in Sports Competitions
Our country continues to implement initiatives aimed at promoting physical education and sports, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and strengthening friendly relations and solidarity among work teams.
To mark 11 November – the Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent City Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan organised sports competitions for the Tashkent City Council Cup of the sectoral trade union. The event was held under the motto “Sport – The Key to Good Health” as part of the initiative “Let Us Unite for the Development of Our Country!”
Faculty members and staff of the Academy of Labour and Social Relations actively participated in the competitions, demonstrating their sporting skills, agility and intellectual abilities.
The Academy team achieved the following results:
Darts:
Zarina Nurmatova — 1st place.
Badminton:
Hamza Gaipov — 2nd place.
Special Awards:
Khusan Bozorboev — winner of the “Sharpshooter” nomination in darts;
Arzigul Usenova — awarded the “Best Player” nomination in draughts.
The sporting event served not only as an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their physical abilities but also as an important platform for strengthening friendship, mutual support and team spirit among colleagues.
The Academy team represented the institution with distinction, adding new achievements to its record of success.
